This includes culinary professionals and/or students who want to understand FOH service and underemployed citizens who desire to join the restaurant industry. Application Process and Details

All applicants for membership must complete the online application, answer essay questions and submit a current resume.

All applicants must share Better Hospitality’s ideals and exhibit a strong commitment to the advancement of front of house service as a career path. Applicants must show a willingness to contribute to the future success of the restaurant industry.

Essays may be written in English, French or Spanish, so you can best represent yourself and your views.

Written statements should detail your personal food & beverage journey; your career goals in the industry; changes/trends you see in the industry related to front of house service; what you hope to gain from your participation with BH; and the impact BH can make on the industry.
